Research Interests
I am interested in the mechanisms that allow for salinity tolerance in marine organisms, specifically the Eurytemora affinis species complex. I am working on an association study / QTL mapping experiment from F10 advanced intercross lines that will help to identify specific loci that associate with survival at both fresh and saline conditions.
What made you choose this program at UW–Madison?
I did my Undergraduate here and loved the school and the city. I had experience in the lab I am currently in and still had many questions and interests that I could answer here.
