Research Interests
My research focuses on evolutionary, comparative, and population genomics across host–parasite systems. I study mitonuclear evolution and repeated freshwater adaptation in three spine stickleback by integrating population genomics, computational biology, and protein structure prediction. I also investigate the tapeworm Schistocephalus solidus through genome assembly and comparative genomics, and use single-cell sequencing to characterize cell types and gene expression across developmental stages.
