Research Interests
I am exploring plant aromatic amino acid (AAA) biosynthesis through the lens of carbon flux. I employ genetic engineering, metabolomics, and transcriptomics to characterize how modulation of canonical enzymes in the shikimate pathway alters AAA biosynthesis.
