My research focuses on urban ecology, biodiversity, and plant community ecology.
What made you choose this program at UW–Madison?
My educational and research background spans urban planning, ecology, plant physiology and molecular biology, with experiences in China, the UK, and Hong Kong. I chose UW–Madison because the Department of Biology provides a broad and interdisciplinary environment where I can integrate these different perspectives and continue exploring questions in plant science and ecology.
