Research Interests

My research focuses on investigating the biodiversity of soil microfungi in different Wisconsin habitats, including sandbars, prairies and forests. In my project, I am using a rare historical baseline dataset to understand how these communities have changed overtime due to global change.

What made you choose this program at UW–Madison?

I wanted to pursue further graduate studies in mycology and I found a very interesting lab (Pringle Lab) that works on fungal ecology.
