My research interests focus on understanding how cell signaling pathways regulate tissue growth, development, and disease. I study the molecular mechanisms of the Fat-Dachsous/Hippo signaling pathway, with a particular focus on protein phosphorylation and protein-protein interactions. I use Drosophila genetics, molecular and cell biology, and proteomics/mass spectrometry to identify and characterize signaling mechanisms relevant to developmental biology.

What made you choose this program at UW–Madison?

I chose UW–Madison because of its strong research environment, collaborative community, and opportunities to pursue interdisciplinary research in developmental and cell biology.
