Research Interests

I am broadly interested in how plant communities and populations recover from disturbances. My previous work has focused on subalpine forest regeneration after wildfires, and my current project involves plant responses to declining pollinator populations. I am also interested in restoration ecology and the implications of climate change on restoration objectives.

What made you choose this program at UW–Madison?

The strong legacy of ecology research at UW–Madison was really exciting, and all the people I interacted with in the department seemed genuinely excited to talk about science!
